Democratic vice presidential hopeful John Edwards will attend the House Democrats’ weekly Caucus meeting Wednesday morning, sources confirmed Monday. Edwards will meet with Senate Democrats during their weekly Caucus luncheon today.[IMGCAP(1)]
House Caucus leaders wanted to get face time with the North Carolina Senator before the party’s nominating convention begins July 25. They asked Edwards to meet with Members immediately after the presumptive presidential nominee, Sen. John Kerry (Mass.), selected him as his running mate last week.

Members of Congress are partnering with the American League of Lobbyists and the Men’s Wearhouse in a clothing drive Wednesday. “Gently used” business attire will be collected in the Rayburn Foyer from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for low-income adults and at-risk youths first entering the work force.
All donations to the first annual “Capitol PurSuit Drive: Get America Back to Work” are tax deductible and will be used by Career Gear and Working Wardrobes. The mission of these two nonprofit groups is to provide low-income people with both the proper attire and job-readiness training to ensure they can get and keep a job.
