Remembering Ford

A memorial service for the late Rep. Bill Ford (D-Mich.) will be held at 4 p.m. today on the fourth floor of the American Federation of Teachers building, located at 555 New Jersey Ave. NW.

Ford, who retired at the end of 1994 after three decades in Congress, died last month of complications from a stroke. He was 77.
