[IMGCAP(1)]So Long, Duke. David Heil is leaving his job as chief of staff to Rep. Duke Cunningham (R-Calif.) to join the Atlanta-based law and lobbying firm McKenna Long and Aldridge. He will be a senior adviser in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Heil is one of several recent additions to the firm’s lobbying practice, including former Sen. Zell Miller (D-Ga.) and Powell Moore, former assistant secretary of Defense for legislative affairs.

“We plan to continue aggressively growing the practice and further strengthening our federal client service capabilities,” said Eric Tanenblatt, head of the firm’s national government affairs practice.
