SE Public Library’s Annual Book Sale Is Saturday

The Friends of the Southeast Public Library will hold its annual Spring book sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine.

Used books of all types will be on sale at the library, which is located across from the Eastern Market Metrorail Station, one block south of Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast. All hard-cover books are $1, large paperbacks are 50 cents and regular-sized paperbacks are 25 cents.

Proceeds will be used to provide needed services for the library and its patrons.
