4-H, For You

Rep. Adam Putnam (R-Fla.) is so young … (How young is he?) … that a mere 13 years ago he was just a kid in the 4-H program. OK, he was more than just a participant — in 1992 he was president of the Florida 4-H. During his tenure, then-first lady Barbara Bush visited the Central Florida Fair in Orlando to announce winners at the Dairy Show. While there, Putnam had the opportunity to meet Bush and give her a 4-H clover pin (above). Putnam is now a member of the National 4-H Hall of Fame.
