Courtney Geduldig, currently a deputy assistant secretary for legislative affairs at the Treasury Department, will join the Financial Services Forum on Aug. 1 as the group’s senior vice president for government relations.[IMGCAP(1)]

At Treasury, Geduldig’s portfolio included domestic financial services issues. Before joining Treasury, she served as the Congressional lobbying chief at the Consumer Bankers Association.

“She will play an important role in promoting and advancing Forum initiatives with Capitol Hill, the Administration and the regulatory agencies,” said Forum CEO and former Commerce Secretary Don Evans said in a statement.

The forum represents the CEOs of the 20 largest financial services companies.
