Teed Off

Republican Members of Congress, led by Rep. Mike Oxley (above), maintained their dominance in the annual First Tee Congressional Challenge on Monday, taking home the coveted Roll Call Cup with a 10.5-9.5 victory over the Democrats.

The event, held at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Md., raised $100,000 for the First Tee program to benefit youth. But wait — there’s more. Each of the 20 participants pledged $1,000 to the Hurricane Katrina relief charity of his choice.
