Wells Continues Community Walks

D.C. Council member Tommy Wells will hold the latest in his series of community walks on Tuesday night in the Capitol Hill area between 17th and 19th streets Southeast, near the Stadium- Armory Metro stop.

The Ward 6 Democrat will be joined by 1st district police Cmdr. David Kamperin and officials from the D.C. departments of Transportation and Public Works.

The walks, which are designed for residents to express neighborhood concerns, previously have been held in the Mt. Vernon, H Street Northeast, Southwest and New Hill East neighborhoods.

Tuesday’s walk will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of 18th and Bay streets Southeast.
