Rep. Heather Wilson, running in the GOP Senate primary against Rep. Steve Pearce, is scheduled to hold a fundraiser later this month featuring former Sen. John Danforth (R-Mo.).

The Nov. 29 event is set for a private residence in Albuquerque. The invitation requests $1,000 per person.

Wilson and Pearce are vacating their House seats to run for the Senate seat that has opened up courtesy of Sen. Pete Domenici’s (R) decision to retire after six terms.

According to a blog operated by a veteran New Mexico political observer, Pearce is scheduled to hold a fundraising luncheon in Clovis on Nov. 27.
