Iowa: Braley to Formally Begin Re-election Bid on Friday

Rep. Bruce Braley (D) is scheduled on Friday to announce that he will seek a second term this year, according to his campaign.

Braley is set to publicize his plans during stops in Davenport, Clinton and Dubuque.

The 1st district leans Democratic, and Braley is in a good position to win re-election in November — at least at this point. No Republicans have filed to run against him.
