Wyoming: Rancher Gordon Runs Introductory TV Spots

Businessman and rancher Mark Gordon is on the air in his bid to win the GOP primary to replace Rep. Barbara Cubin (R) as the state’s lone House Member.

Gordon is running one 60-second spot and one 30-second spot on statewide broadcast and cable television.

He is using the ads to burnish his Republican credentials on immigration and the economy, while making the case for electing someone who is not a “career politician,” a label that could be used to describe some of his opponents in the Aug. 19 GOP primary.

The candidates for that contest include former state Treasurer Cynthia Lummis (R) and state Rep. Dan Zwonitzer (R). Gary Trauner, who almost beat Cubin in 2006, is the lone Democratic candidate.
