Rangel Asks for Ethics Probe

House Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) called Thursday morning for the House ethics panel to investigate his fundraising efforts on behalf of a City College of New York center that bears his name, denying he has abused Congressional resources. “I believe the review will show that there have been no violations of the rules,” Rangel said in a statement.
