McConnell, Kyl to Address Convention

After being cut from a speaking slot Monday because of the Gulf Coast storms, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is scheduled to speak tonight at the GOP convention on behalf of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Also on the lineup is McCain’s state colleague, Sen. Jon Kyl (R), who was added to the roster of speakers. He will make brief remarks at 10 p.m.
