Rep. Levin’s Wife Dies

Victoria S. Levin, the wife of Rep. Sander Levin (D-Mich.), passed away Thursday morning in Royal Oak, Mich. A psychiatric social worker and an expert in child and family mental health, Levin, 74, had breast cancer. She is survived by her husband; a brother; a brother-in-law, Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.); a sister-in-law; four children; and eight grandchildren. She was considered “a leader in federally funded research on infant and children’s mental health and development issues,” according to a statement released by her family.
