Senate to Observe 9/11

The Senate will pause Thursday in observance of the terrorist attacks that occurred seven years ago.

According to a Democratic aide, there will be a moment of silence on the floor as well as a bicameral remembrance ceremony at 11:30 a.m.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) also plans to attend the opening of a memorial at the Pentagon.
