Judge Emmet Sullivan on Thursday excused the jury for the day in the trial of Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens (R) and scheduled a 4:30 p.m. hearing on Stevens motion to dismiss the case on the grounds that the government failed to turn over evidence that could have aided in the Senators defense.
