Kansas: Chamber of Commerce Endorses Jenkins in 2nd

State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins (R), looking to oust freshman Rep. Nancy Boyda (D) in the conservative-leaning 2nd district, has been endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

“We believe Lynn’s election to the U.S. House will help produce sustained economic growth and promote America’s competitiveness in the world market,” Chamber President Thomas J. Donohue said in a statement released by the Jenkins campaign.

The 2nd district race is a top Republican target this cycle and one of the few races in the country in which the Democratic candidate is on the defensive.
