Kansas: Busy Romney Also Aids Jenkins’ Bid for House

State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins (R), running against Rep. Nancy Boyda (D) in the Republican-leaning 2nd district, was endorsed on Wednesday by former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, was in Topeka to headline a fundraiser for Jenkins. Jenkins closed the third quarter of this year with $553,000 in cash on hand. Boyda finished the period with $622,000.
