Foxx Named to Rules Panel

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Tuesday named Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) to the Rules Committee.

Foxx is filling the slot being vacated by Rep. Doc Hastings (R-Wash.).

The highly partisan committee, which will maintain its ratio of nine Democrats to four Republicans in the 111th Congress, sets the parameters for how each bill is debated on the House floor.
