[IMGCAP(1)]Rep. Kendrick Meek (D) was a newly minted captain in the Florida Highway Patrol when he posed for this class photo in 1992. Meek (top row, second from left) served as a trooper for five years before he was elected to the Florida state Legislature. He was elected to Congress in 2002 and is now running for Senate.
