Hoyer Adds Two Days to House Work Schedule

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) announced Tuesday that the House is adding two more days to its work schedule.

In a change to the original schedule, the House will now be in session on Friday, June 19, and Monday, July 13. Additionally, the House will not come into session on Friday, April 24, as planned.

“Adding these days will allow us time to work through the appropriations process and other important legislation that the House will be considering this year,— Hoyer said in a statement.
