Colorado: Buck Jumps Into Senate Race Against Bennet

Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck (R) has entered the 2010 Senate race against appointed Sen. Michael Bennet (D).

Buck is known for his hard-line views on illegal immigration. This week, he launched BuckForColorado.com — which boasts a Senate campaign logo and the promise of “Web Site Coming Soon.—

Buck does not have the GOP primary field to himself. Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier already announced the formation of a Senate exploratory committee. Former Rep. Bob Beauprez, who left Congress to run unsuccessfully for governor in 2006, is also eyeing the race.
