Illinois: Davis Explores Run for Cook County Board

The Chicago Sun-Times reported Wednesday that Rep. Danny Davis (D) is forming an exploratory committee to run for president of the Cook County Board.

Davis’ spokeswoman told the newspaper that the Congressman had commissioned a poll on his potential candidacy, plus the seven-term House Democrat is meeting with Board President Todd Stroger about the race.
