House to Meet Saturday at 9 a.m.

House Members should be prepared to meet bright and early Saturday to get started in advancing Democrats’ health care reform plan.The House will meet at 9 a.m. and should be prepared for votes at that time, although a final vote on the Democratic health care plan isn’t likely to happen until the late afternoon, according to a House Democratic leadership aide.Members will get a pep talk Friday from President Barack Obama, who will address the full Democratic Caucus at 10:30 a.m. In order to accommodate the president’s visit, the Rules Committee will begin its scheduled markup of the health care bill at noon, a Democratic aide said.
