Virginia Rep. Wolf Loses A Democratic Challenger

Virginia lawyer Patrick Lewis (D), who had initiated a 2010 campaign against Rep. Frank R. Wolf (R), won’t be continuing his effort in the 10th district.

Lewis’ decision to shutter an exploratory committee he formed last month leaves Richard Anthony and architect Dennis Findley as the Democrats challenging Wolf, who is serving his 15th term in a district that includes some northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.

An e-mail to Lewis’ campaign wasn’t immediately returned, and his campaign Web site wasn’t working Tuesday afternoon.
