DCCC Radio Ad Targets GOP on Financial Regulation

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is going after five Republican members with a radio ad buy this week, seeking to paint their vote against Democrats’ financial regulatory overhaul bill last week as a sign they are beholden to Wall Street.

The ads will begin airing during drive time Wednesday in the districts of Republican Reps. Dan Lungren (Calif.), Mary Bono Mack (Calif.), Lee Terry (Neb.), Charlie Dent (Penn.), and Joe Wilson (S.C.), claiming they are “standing up for the big banks” rather than their constituents

All five members face legitimate Democratic challenges next year — CQ Politics rates Dent, Lungren and Terry’s races as Leans Republican and Bono Mack and Wilson’s contests Likely Republican.
