Bachmann Parts Ways With Fundraising Firm
Rep. Michele Bachmann’s (R-Minn.) fundraising firm has become the latest defection from her camp, according to several sources familiar with the split.
The Gula Graham Group, a Republican fundraising and consulting firm, ended their three-year relationship with Bachmann last week, GOP sources with knowledge of the firm’s decision said Wednesday.
Mike Gula, co-founder of the Gula Graham Group, confirmed his firm had parted ways with the fiery Minnesota Republican.
“I can confirm that the Gula Graham Group no longer works for Congresswoman Bachmann,” Gula said. “We chose to go in a different direction.”
Bachmann’s campaign has paid the group $17,886 in the 2009-2010 election cycle, according to CQ MoneyLine.
The firm’s departure comes less than two months after Bachmann’s chief of staff, Michelle Marston, left the office. Marston was Bachmann’s third chief of staff in as many years.
Bachmann’s office did not immediately return a request for comment.
