New Committee Assists Seven GOP Senate Candidates

Seven Republicans running in key U.S. Senate races will share campaign funds collected by a newly formed political committee.

U.S. Senate Victory Committee was organized this week as a joint fundraising committee that will distribute funds to the seven Republicans who were identified on Federal Election Commission paperwork as participants in the venture.

They are Kelly Ayotte (N.H.), a former state Attorney General; Rep. Roy Blunt (Mo.); Jane Norton (Colo.), a former lieutenant governor; former Rep. Rob Portman (Ohio); Marco Rubio (Fla.), a former state House Speaker; former Rep. Rob Simmons (Conn.); and former Rep. Pat Toomey (Pa.).
