Obama: ‘Well Run Campaign’

President Barack Obama on Tuesday night called state Sen. Scott Brown (R) and congratulated him on his victory in the Massachusetts Senate contest over Democrat Martha Coakley, commending him on a “well run campaign,” according to a statement released by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

“The President told Senator Brown that he looks forward to working with him on the urgent economic challenges facing Massachusetts families and struggling families across our nation,” Gibbs said.

Obama also called Coakley and thanked her “for her hard work,” Gibbs said.
