Obama to Make Statement After House Health Care Vote

President Barack Obama will make a statement Sunday night following the House vote on health care reform, the White House announced.

Obama will speak from the East Room in the White House after the final vote, which Democratic leaders are estimating will take place around 10 or 11 p.m.

In the meantime, the president is spending the day “at the White House making calls and catching a few minutes of basketball here and there,” according to a White House aide.
