Who knew House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer could bust out such slick dance moves?

The Maryland Democrat took to the dance floor to do the Electric Slide on Friday at a fundraiser for House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.).

Blogger Brad Warthen, who also put the clip on his Web site, notes that Hoyer spoke only briefly at the event, but specifically requested that the disc jockey at Clyburn’s fish fry fundraiser play the ’80s dance classic.

HOH notes Clyburn also is seen dancing in the clip — although he doesn’t seem to know the routine nearly as well as Hoyer.
