HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Par for the Course

Several Members of Congress are planning to take advantage of the warm weather over the next several days by hitting the links — and raising a little cash while they’re on the green.

Reps. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) and Tom Price (R-Ga.) are slated to appear Friday in Pinehurst, N.C., for the Pinehurst Golf Weekend, raising cash for the House Conservatives Fund, according to the Sunlight Foundation’s Party Time blog.

And the duo won’t be the only Members working on their swing: Rep. Ron Kind’s (D-Wis.) Badger political action committee is scheduled to host a golf and spa retreat on Friday at the American Club and Kohler Waters Spa in Kohler, Wis.; Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.) is hosting his Reynolds Plantation Weekend fundraiser Friday and Saturday in Greensburo, Ga.; Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa) is on tap to host a fundraiser Friday at the Country Club at Woodmore in Mitchellville, Md.; Rep. Joe Baca (D-Calif.) is scheduled to raise cash Saturday at the Blue Monster at Doral Golf Resort in Miami; and Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) is expected to hold her 20th annual golf tournament at the Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Ijamsville, Md., on Monday.
