HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Hollywood and Washington Collide

Ex-convict Jack Abramoff got his Hollywood moment Wednesday night when “Casino Jack,” the film depicting his scandal-ridden years as a lobbyist, premiered at the E Street Cinema.

While Abramoff wasn’t spotted at the premiere, Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey, who portrays Abramoff, was on hand for the screening, as were a slew of famous-for-D.C. types, including the Washington Post’s Ben Bradlee, lobbyist Heather Podesta and NBC’s Andrea Mitchell and Chris Matthews.

HOH spied one lawmaker at the event, Rep. Jane Harman.

“I don’t know Kevin Spacey, but I’m a huge admirer of his work,” the California Democrat said on her way into the screening.
