HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Norton’s Holiday Hunks

Looks like Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton is getting help from some very dreamy elves at her holiday party this year.

D.C. United is teaming up with the D.C. Democrat to help spread some holiday cheer. Players from the soccer club will help collect and distribute toys to underprivileged kids at Norton’s annual Capitol Hill holiday party Dec. 21.

More than 200 children are expected to enjoy the party, which will be held in the Cannon House Office Building. This is the fifth consecutive year that the United have helped Norton distribute toys.

The soccer team will also organize a toy drive and a happy hour fundraiser to benefit the children at the party. The happy hour is scheduled to be held at Duffy’s Irish Pub (2106 Vermont Ave. NE) on Dec. 4. Participants can either pay $10 or donate a toy to enter.
