Heard on the Hill: Gunning It on the Hill

“Project Runway” mentor and fashion guru Tim Gunn hit Capitol Hill on Monday, joining Council of Fashion Designers of America Executive Director Steven Kolb to lobby for legislation that would protect fashion designers’ creations. HOH hears Gunn made several stops, including a visit to the office of Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and in the Senate gallery.

Monday’s trip wasn’t Gunn’s first time on Capitol Hill — the D.C. native and “Runway” season five winner Leanne Marshall lobbied on the same issue last year.
