Obama to Host Members of DNC at White House

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will host a party for Democratic National Committee members on Feb. 25, the second day of the party’s three-day winter meeting.

“I know it will be a lovely gathering. … Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we are now at capacity for this reception,” DNC Secretary Alice Germond wrote in a letter to DNC members.

Speakers at the winter meeting, to be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., include new Obama Chief of Staff William Daley; Labor Secretary Hilda Solis; Charlotte, N.C., Mayor Anthony Foxx; and D.C. Mayor Vince Gray.
