Romney Gets New Staff in Virginia

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney announced Monday a trio of top GOP officials to lead his Virginia campaign.

Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling will serve as chairman, and state Dels. Barbara Comstock and Chris Peace will serve as co-chairmen for Romney’s presidential campaign in Virginia.

“I look forward to working alongside them as I campaign across Virginia and the rest of the country to reverse President [Barack] Obama’s failed policies and get our economy on the right track,” Romney said in a statement.

This isn’t the first time that Comstock played a big role in Romney’s race. Before her election, she served as a senior adviser for Romney during his failed 2008 bid for the White House.
