New Hampshire Sets 2012 Primary for Jan. 10

New Hampshire Secretary of State William Gardner announced this morning that his state will hold its first-in-the-nation presidential primary on Jan. 10, 2012.

This move sets up a January presidential primary schedule much like the one in 2008. Iowa will still have the first say in the nominating process, holding its caucuses on Jan. 3.

Residents in South Carolina will then have their primary Jan. 21, followed by Florida Jan. 31 and the Nevada caucuses on Feb. 4.
