Last Stop for ‘Soul Train’

Congressional Members have many feelings over the apparent suicide of Don Cornelius, 75, producer and host of the incredible television dance show “Soul Train.”

“Part of every person’s soul who grew up on ‘Soul Train’ has died with him,” Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) said in a statement.

“On his tombstone, should read his immortal words: ‘I’m Don Cornelius, and as always in parting, we wish you love, peace and soul!'”

This seems as good a time as any to rewatch the “Soul Train” intro.
