They Will Pump It for You

Two Congressman will be spending this day pumping your gas if you let them!

That is correct. In a completely uncoordinated effort, Republican Reps. Pete Olson and David Schweikert will spend a few hours pumping gas somewhere in their districts. If you can find them, you can tell them all your feelings about energy and other stuff.

Schweikert, on the other hand, has been pumping at Danny’s Family Car Wash in Scottsdale, Ariz., since 6 a.m.

Are you a little low on gas money? Well, don’t bother trying to hit up these dudes.

Both Congressmen will be acting as guest gas-tenders and not your gasoline sugar daddies.

“[The Congressman] made a disclaimer today,” Schweikert spokeswoman Rachel Semmel tells HOH. “He’ll pump the gas, but he won’t pay for it.”

Fair.

“His plan today is to pump people’s gas,” Olson spokeswoman Melissa Kelly says. “And let them vent about high gas prices.”

So, belly up to the pump, America, and don’t forget to tip your gas-tenders, people.
