GOP Committees Announce February Fundraising

Updated: 5:51 p.m. | The National Republican Congressional Committee raised $5.1 million in February and had $20.6 million in cash on hand at the end of last month, NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions (Texas) said in a briefing with reporters today.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee outraised the NRCC last month, but the Republicans still had more in cash on hand. The DCCC pulled in $6.3 million in February and had $16.4 million in the bank.

Democrats need to net 25 seats in November to take back the House.

Meantime, the National Republican Senatorial Committee announced it raised $4.95 million in February and $50.5 million so far this cycle, leaving it with $16.2 million on hand. The NRSC noted in a release that it has bested its 2008 total raised to date, while the DSCC is not on pace from that cycle.

The DSCC announced this morning that it brought in $5.3 million last month, boosting its cycle-to-date total to $52.3 million and leaving it with $19 million on hand.
