A group called Government Free VJJ is offering knitters and crocheters a way to express their political beliefs while also practicing their craft.

“Dear Men in Congress: If we knit you a uterus, will you stay out of ours?” the group asks on its website.

Nonetheless, we at HOH find it worth noting that this group is willing to provide male Members with their very own — and anatomically correct — “crocheted uterus,” “happy uterus,” “felt cervix,” “knitted vulva,” “snatchel” or “womb.” This is amusing.

The group is planning to hand-deliver the gifts to Members’ offices, but it encourages folks to mail them in the meantime — and also to record in a spreadsheet which Members are recipients.
