Fair Game
Not all politicians are bred to be perennial candidates, constantly vying to honor an iconic forebearer or shame a dismissive college roommate. Some people actually CHOOSE to pursue public service as a vocation.
If you happen to be a champion-in-training — one who cannot envision doing anything but battling it out on issues large and small, a devoted constituency eternally at your back and misguided opponents constantly closing in from all sides — then let us direct you to, and shamelessly promote, CQ Roll Call’s Spring Graduate School Fair. It may be the perfect place to sharpen your intellectual knives.
The program is free, though RSVPs are strongly encouraged, and will feature a slew of local and out-of-town players in the public policy game.
Aspiring public arena gamers should be able to get a feel for whom they’ll be facing in future primaries/general elections by popping into Union Station’s East Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
