The May issue of Elle magazine settles it once and for all. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is smarter than you, probably more fun than you and better liked than you are. Sorry.

One thing’s for sure, the magazine presents a glowing side of HRC in its profile.

Things we knew: Clinton has had failures! She is in a strong marriage! She cares about women! She cares about children! She wears pant suits!

Things we didn’t know: She’s an introvert! She’s more popular then Oprah! She “really kicks back!” It could take up to 500 years for women to reach parity in Congress!

Also, the profile confirms what we always suspected: HRC is way more serious than her Senate bros.

“At a security conference in Munich one Saturday morning, she was in the front row, a few seats down from the congressional delegation (or “CODEL,” in DC lingo) of Senators John Kerry, John McCain, and Joe Lieberman,” the story goes. “The speaker was giving a talk in droning German. The CODEL wandered in late. None of them bothered to put on the translation headphones that were provided.

“Kerry sat down and immediately began to bite his nails and look off into space,” she continues. “Lieberman and McCain whispered to each other and giggled.”

CODELs: They are just like middle school.

“Clinton, on the other hand, donned her own pair of headphones, took notes, and nodded, her full attention on the speech.”

And who ended up secretary of State?
