New Flick Flames Tax Dodgers

You have fewer than 36 hours to hand Uncle Sam his annual cut of your income.

And if the looming Tax Day filing deadline isn’t upsetting enough, the corporate watchdogs behind “We’re Not Broke” want everyone to know some multibillion-dollar business groups won’t be ponying up one thin dime:

The Sundance-feted flick comes to D.C. — there’s a private screening tonight at the West End Cinema (2301 M St. NW) for “just a mix of people we know in Washington,” promoters tell HOH — just as the Senate pushes for symbolic votes on President Barack Obama’s upper-income targeting “Buffett Rule.” The film lambastes a slew of super successful companies with incredibly shrinking tax bills, including: General Electric, Bank of America, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Citigroup and Google. In their pursuit of tax fairness, the filmmakers have thrown their support behind the Cut Unjustified Tax Loopholes Act, a tax-sheltering shakedown authored by Sen.
