Although Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) still has to get through his primary challenge from state Sen. Dan Liljenquist, he picked up a big endorsement Wednesday. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced the group is endorsing Hatch in his re-election bid.

Chamber President Tom Donohue called Hatch “a tireless leader” in a statement and praised Hatch’s positions on economic policy.

“Orrin Hatch knows what America’s job creators need to get our country back to work,” Donohue added. “We need him in the Senate.”

Hatch is heavily favored to win the June 26 primary after he received 59 percent at the state nominating convention last weekend.
