A poll from earlier this month of likely Massachusetts voters found the competitive Senate race between Sen. Scott Brown (R) and Harvard Law School professor Elizabeth Warren tied.

In a horserace matchup between Brown and Warren, the presumptive Democratic nominee, both took 46 percent of the vote.

The Harstad Strategic Research Inc. poll, paid for by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, surveyed 502 likely voters on land lines and cellphones May 8-10.

The Brown campaign had no comment.
