Pooling Our Resources

Washington summers are all swampy days and hot nights, so the hunt is on for gorgeous rooftops with pools to soak in and bars to lounge around. Consider this HOH’s philanthropic mission this summer: to bring news of such wondrous places.

This week, the Liaison Capitol Hill’s rooftop pool is free for local Washingtonians after 5 p.m.! Also, there is a bar.

If you can’t get to the pool after work or you’ve somehow snagged a day off, the hotel offers $20 day passes every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For early birds and yoga geeks, the Liaison and its Art and Soul restaurant are holding “Tone, Taste, and Tan” every weekend.

For $50, yogis can hone their downward dog at an hourlong vinyasa-based yoga class beginning at 7:30 a.m. The classes will be led by teachers from Adams Morgan’s Embrace yoga studio.

Post-workout, the yoga class will break its fast at Art and Soul before spending the rest of the day catching catnaps by the pool. We love summer.
