Among the thousands of people amassed before the Supreme Court on Thursday morning was the former Member with the mostest, HOH favorite David Wu (D-Ore.).

The legislative pariah resigned his seat almost a year ago but continues to seek out the spotlight as if it’s his job.
He held court outside the highest court, offering his from-the-hip evaluation of the Affordable Care Act ruling to a number of roving cameramen and desperate AM radio outlets.

“I no longer have a dog in this fight. I’m just a concerned citizen,” he joked as folks — some of whom looked genuinely unsure of who he was but following suit with the surrounding media — thrust microphones into his face.

Wu praised the ruling as a “huge, huge win for the American people,” laundry-listing the merits of the multitiered initiative for those willing to hang on to his every word. More importantly, he stressed that the Supreme Court’s endorsement of the health care law would FINALLY cement President Barack Obama’s place in the history books.

We are confident that being the first black president, overseeing the raid that killed Osama bin Laden and pulling the troops out of Iraq should be good enough for at least a footnote (or two).
