London Fashion Week starts this Friday, and boy, will President Barack Obama’s campaign benefit!

The Sunlight Foundation’s “Party Time” blog reports that Vogue editor Anna Wintour, GOOP’s Gwyneth Paltrow and fashion designer/filmmaker Tom Ford will be hosting an Obama Victory Fund Dinner at the super swanky Mark’s Club in London on Sept. 19. Tickets for the event go from $15,000 to $40,000 a plate.

According to the Sunlight Foundation, this is the third fundraiser Wintour has thrown for Obama on top of contributing $35,000 to the Obama Victory Fund. Paltrow donated $20,000 to Obama for America, while Ford donated a whopping $78,000.

The news comes as the campaign ramps up efforts to convince average Americans the president gets them.

The dinner still pales in comparison to the $60,000-a-plate fundraiser Romney Victory Inc. threw for GOP candidate Mitt Romney in Israel on July 29.

For both candidates, foreign fundraisers are not so abnormal. On Aug. 27, the Obama Victory Fund held another big money dinner ($30,000 per couple, $20,000 for individuals) in Switzerland featuring special guest George Clooney.
